Moninne (version by Conchubranus)

  • supp. fl. 6th/7th century?
  • saints of Scotland, saints of Ireland
  • (agents)
Female Irish saint whose hagiographer, Conchubranus, seems to have based her identity on that of Mo Ninne of Killevy, but transformed it to encompass a career in England, Scotland and Rome. Material relating to other saints may have played a part in this transformation.
